Remember to take time to relax.
Stress is all around us and if we don’t plan on relaxing we won’t.

Remember to take time to relax. First don’t panic. I am living in this situation as well. The road to my house has been destroyed so I know what it is like to feel trapped. The devastation is unthinkable. More and more roads are being damaged and/or closed. If you have to leave your house please be very cautious. There is no need to take undue risk. Panicking in times like these doesn’t make the situation any better. Control your thoughts. Keep them logical so you and your family can remain safe. Use the telephone to call and ask other’s how they are doing. Walk to your neighbor’s house (only if it is safe) to check on them. If you have been a victim to the water entering your home and see the loss of belongings, understand that they are material possessions that perhaps can be saved. BUT IF NOT… you still have your life and family, and that is what is most important. To loose those items we hold so precious to life is an awful feeling yet again, we need to think logically about these items. Can they be replaced? What is their value? If you do need to throw these items away, I ask you to simple sit quietly for a moment, collect your thoughts and memories about these items before you have to discard them for safety reasons. Also, your adrenaline will kick in and put your body into what is called the fight/flight mode. Be careful… you may find yourself doing more physical activity than your body is conditioned for… you may lift heavy objects that may hurt your back, etc. SO THINK before you ACT>>>>>MY WARM HEART FELT WISHES TO ALL THAT ARE AFFECTED. Today I write to you about this wonderful word I find is very helpful in our lives … Reflection. Many people use this word as an image, or a representation, or as thought processing; others as being in a state of reflection, mediation, or simply just preforming an observation. How helpful is this word? How many times do you feel rushed in your daily life and don’t even give yourself time to “reflect” on any aspect of your day? How many times before you go to bed each night do you give yourself 3-5 minutes and reflect on what was the best part of your day? Reflection is a peaceful process which I recommend to all to perform each day and at least three times a day… morning, afternoon and just before sleep time. Try to allow yourself some quite time to reflect on what goods feelings, thoughts, and/or behaviors you have had for that morning, afternoon and evening time. Do not judge what you are experiencing … just experience it. Enjoy it! Relax while you are reflecting by taking in some wonderful breathing. Give yourself loving kindness in these few moments of pleasure. Welcome yourself into a healthier spring by taking control over your health. I am offering a spring special to help those who want to stop smoking now. For only $80.00 you can stop smoking now. The average price of a carton of cigarettes is $75.00 to $ 80,00, so why not take that same amount of money and gift yourself health. Call to reserve your seat today. Do you or do you know someone who is struggling with a medical condition such as Cancer, MS, Stroke paralysis, TMJ, Menopause, Infertility issues, etc ( so many to mention)? If so perhaps you will consider trying this venue of hypnotherapy treatment, and/or spread the good news…there is help out there. As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist I utilize my 6 degrees that I have earned through my studies. This is often the question and feeling I hear right after I awaken someone from being hypnotized. Even though I teach each person I hypnotize “self-hypnosis,” and my 6 phase approach of hypnosis; I still receive these reactions. One of the phases which I feel is vital to the success of the hypnosis process is the phase called “convincer,” because it allow you to know how deep in trance the person is. If the person is not in trance deep enough then the therapy could fail. There are several reasons why people do not eat healthy. You probably have some reasons of your own. How many times have you been on a diet? How many different programs have you tried? Recently I heard of a new approch which uses the connection of releasing self hatred and giving yourself compassion to reach your weight loss goal. In my practice I first conduct an extensive intake about the person’s eating behaviors, exercise regime, emotional triggers causing negative eating habits and level of motivation. Appropriate achievable goals are then set. Next I teach Self-Hypnosis followed by a series of four clinical hypnotherapy sessions. Great sucess has been achieved to those who implement this self motivated program. Is this the approach for you? Recently I have come to lose several people due to illnesses, accidents and those just living to a very old age. No matter whether the lost was sudden or known to happen, this event changes your life forever. But how? ![]() Valentines Day on the beach. It was a very interesting day listening to what Valentines Day means to so many people. What does it mean to you? Just another day? A day to spend with those you love? Spending time with friends and family? Sharing an intimate romantic moment or two with that special person you love? Well, today I had to counsel a person who was devastated about this day, and how hard it was for her to survive the day without the person she cares so much about…and had come to find out that he no longer cares for her after a long term relationship. Sound familiar? How do you live through this day? Through this devastation? First BREATHE! Now think logically about the reasons why the relation is now over. Stay mindful of the reality. Try not to let the emotional part of yourself take over for this will lead to more devastation. Can you see this day as just another day? What can you do to regain or maintain you self dignity? How can you treat yourself with greater sense of self-esteem? How many hours in this day, and how many of these hours do you spend them sleeping? So then how many hours are you really dealing with? Then tomorrow comes and it’s just another ordinary day… and the emotions are once again contained and logic prevails. Move on and treat yourself with loving kindness. I have come to learn that most of the general population believes that hypnosis is used only for weight loss, stress reduction and smoking cessation. However, there hypnosis can be and is used for many more issues than those mentioned above. In my practice I have treated people for a variety of issues, and I want to share what some of them have been to let the general population understand the versatility of hypnosis. ADD/ADHD, Academic issues (study habits, test taking, memory retention) Acne, Anxiety, Anorexia -Bulimia, Bed wetting, Depression, Fear of Driving, Flying, Height, Bugs, Vomiting, Dentist (etc), Gaining a better sense of image, self esteem, self confidence, Insomnia, Sleep disorders, How to sleep with a oxygen machine, Enhancing sports performances (tennis, golf, etc.) TMJ, IBS, Celiac eating, Food aversions (chocolate, etc.) Nail biting, Thumb sucking, Cancer Treatment (chemo side effects) Pain Management, Menopausal symptoms, Hypno-birthing, Stroke patients- teaching them how to regain movement and speech, and so much more.. So as you can see it’s not just for smoking cessation, weight management or stress reduction… what troubles you, and have you thought about using hypnosis to help? |
